Explore, strengthen, and share faith in community with others

Scripture emphasizes throughout that it is not good to be alone. The New Testament "one-anothering" language highlights how our growth in Christ is inseparably tied to living in community. Modeled after Acts 2:42-47, Christ Pres small groups exist to nurture friendship that strengthens faith.

Being part of a connect group is an integral component of connecting meaningfully with other believers, with Jesus, and with his mission.

Every Fall, Winter, and Spring, an opportunity is provided to join a short-term, 8-week small group. Some groups are coed and others are gender-specific. Some groups meet at the church and others meet in homes, places of work, or restaurants. Days and times also vary, according to people's different needs.

Each small group has its own personality, just like the people within the group. But all groups share a commitment to study Scripture, encourage each other in faith and friendship, consider avenues of service, and pray together.

After the 8-week period, members of the short term group decide together whether they will become an ongoing group or sign up for a new group in the next 8-week cycle.

Signups begin in August 2022. Sign up for the next 8-week Connect Group cycle by choosing to join a gender-specific or coed group. You may choose to sign up for both if you prefer! Contact us for more information.

Coed Groups

Coed Groups are gender-mixed gatherings of 3 - 6 households. Together, they choose the day and time of the week to meet and will go through the current Connect Group materials, or discuss the sermon-based study. Register here.

Men's Groups

Men's groups will gather once per week for eight weeks with approximately 4 - 8 members. Alternatively, you may choose to participate in the larger Thursday Morning Men's Bible study who will go through the current Connect Group materials. Register here.

Women's Groups

Women's groups will gather once per week for eight weeks with approximately 4 - 8 members. Alternatively, you may choose to participate in the larger Tuesday Morning Women's Bible study who will go through the current Connect Group materials. Register here.

I’m new to the church. Can I join a Connect Group in the middle of the season?

Yes! Even if we’re in the middle of one of the 8-week studies, we’ll assist in helping you find a group for you to plug into right away.

Can a small group continue once the initial, 8-week study ends?
