Because God’s Kingdom is much greater than a single church, we launched City Groups to model the flourishing of all people and of all churches.

We invite groups of Christ Presbyterian members and Nashville friends together to focus on making a positive difference somewhere in the greater Nashville area for a minimum of one year. Why a year? We feel that over time—committing to showing up again and again—allows relational equity and trust to build by connecting & serving alongside one another.

By design, each City Group selects a leadership team of at least three people (including at least one non-staff Christ Presbyterian member) then drafts their mission statement and one-year plan to support their goals. While some of our City Groups connect & serve alongside a local non-profit to intentionally provide ongoing support, others work collectively toward a mission and goals defined apart from any non-profit. We offer ideas, best practices, various resources, and even capital (grants) "to celebrate wherever, whenever, and through whomever, God chooses to grow his Kingdom" without concern for who gets the credit. These groups exist #ForOurCity.

Whether in-person or from-home, each of our City Groups have opportunities for all to be involved. Below are this year’s City Groups as well as their social media and key contact you can connect with to learn more.
